Bridges RM users: note that the new Bridges-2 RM nodes have 128 cores per node, a significant increase from the 28 cores that Bridges RM nodes had. Some Bridges-2 allocations have already been exhausted because users did not account for using 128 cores on each RM node in a job.
The Service Unit charge for RM nodes is one SU per core-hour. Using an entire RM node for one hour, then, incurs 128 SUs.
Please make sure your jobs are using only the resources you need. Consider using the RM-shared partition on Bridges-2 if your job cannot take advantage of 128 cores.
For more differences between Bridges and Bridges-2 nodes, see the Bridges to Bridges-2 Migration Guide.
